Traveling by car

Just a short drive southwest of downtown Miami, Homestead-Miami Speedway sits at the edge of the Everglades – a South Florida landmark known for warm weather, palm-tree views, and the electric atmosphere of NASCAR race weekend. With beaches, nightlife, and great winter sun, it’s easy to turn your trip into a full Miami getaway.

Because of the large crowds expected during race weekend, fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early. If you have a parking pass, check the instructions printed on it, as some lots have dedicated entry routes. Police officers and parking attendants will be on-site to guide all vehicles.

Directions

From Downtown Miami:

• Take US-1 South to Homestead, then follow signs for SW 137th Ave / Speedway Blvd and continue directly to Homestead-Miami Speedway.

From Miami Beach

• Take the MacArthur Causeway to I-95 South, join the Florida Turnpike heading south, and exit at Exit 6 (Speedway Blvd / SW 137th Ave).

From Fort Lauderdale / Broward County:

• Take I-95 South or the Turnpike to Exit 6, then follow Speedway Blvd straight to the venue.

From the Florida Keys:

• Drive north on US-1 through Homestead, then turn onto SW 344th St / Palm Drive, following signs for the Speedway.

From West Miami / Doral:

• Take the Florida Turnpike South and exit at Exit 6, then continue to Speedway Blvd.

Approximate driving times

• Downtown Miami: ~35–45 minutes (33 miles via US-1 or Turnpike)
• Miami Beach: ~55 minutes (40 miles via I-95 & Turnpike)
• Fort Lauderdale: ~1 hour 5 minutes (60 miles via Turnpike)
• Key Largo: ~45 minutes (36 miles via US-1 North)
• Doral: ~40 minutes (30 miles via Turnpike)

Extra tips

• Expect heavy traffic near the Speedway, especially before the Cup Series race.
• Follow all instructions from traffic officers and parking staff.
• Multiple parking lots are available and well-marked; check your pass for the correct entry gate.
• Do not park along public roads or in nearby shopping centres; unauthorized vehicles may be towed.
