Check out these helpful tips to stay comfortable, prepared, and ready to enjoy every moment of race weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
You’ll find a wide range of concession stands across the facility offering classics like hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, and snacks. During major race weekends, additional pop-up vendors serve favourites such as pizza, barbecue, and other quick meals. Drinks — including water, soda, beer, and coffee — are available throughout the venue.
Bringing your own food
Guests are permitted to enter with unopened, commercially sealed food and beverages. Factory-sealed alcohol is allowed as well, provided it is not in glass.
Full details can be found in the Rules for Visitors section.
Before you leave for the Speedway, save important items directly to your phone: tickets, parking passes, maps, and the event schedule. Mobile networks often slow down on race day due to heavy usage, so don’t rely on a strong signal throughout the venue. If you’re attending with a group, agree on a meeting point and a fallback time in case you get separated.
Homestead-Miami Speedway’s oval produces loud, high-speed racing, and the grandstands can amplify the sound. When the Cup Series hits full speed, the noise level is intense. Earplugs are recommended for all visitors, and children should always have proper hearing protection.
Late October and early November usually bring warm, comfortable weather to South Florida.
Rain is possible in Florida at any time of year, but this period tends to be less humid and more pleasant than summer. Bring a light jacket or hoodie for cooler evenings and a compact rain poncho in case of brief showers.
Stay hydrated throughout the day — sealed bottled water is permitted, and there are fountains around the facility. To stay comfortable under the Florida sun, pack sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
